Human Scribble

Human Scribble is a way to identify myself in a world where perfection and precision are valued more than experimentation and reuse. I work with many forms of (recyclable) materials such as paper, cardboard, styrofoam, metal, and wood. This material palette came about due to my inability to see things go in the trash. Additionally, my involvement in the retail industry, where such materials are excessively used, had me feeling like I needed to go on a rescue mission.  I hope to share with you my passion for one-of-a-kind design that helps the planet in a small but friendly way.

Nice to meet you!

Hello!

My name is Ashley Menestrina and I am the founder of Human Scribble. As a lifelong creator, dabbler, movement artist, and curious human being, I wanted to create a home base for my off the grid artistic happenings. That includes everything from lamps to wall decor to digital art and even dance.

I am extremely passionate about making things that can not be mass produced. The magic that exists in hand made one-of-a-kind objects far surpasses anything built in large quantities. Therefore, most of my work is presented in collections. This format allows me to bring forth an idea and see it represented in a select few pieces that share a common language. I get very excited knowing that each piece I make finds its way into loving hands and a loving home.

Will you be that person?
